Famousparenting Momlife started as a handful of late-night notes on a phone and grew into a place where thousands of parents come to feel a little less alone, and a little more capable, on any given day.
Amelia, founder — still figuring most of it out too.
I didn't start this site because I had motherhood figured out. I started it because I didn't, and every parenting blog I found online seemed to be written by someone who did — someone with a spotless kitchen, a color-coded routine chart, and children who apparently never threw food at the wall.
My own experience looked nothing like that. It looked like googling the same question three different ways at 2 a.m., hoping one search would finally return an answer that felt human instead of clinical. So I began writing down what actually worked for our family, what completely failed, and everything in between — partly for myself, partly for any other tired parent scrolling at the same hour.
That collection of notes slowly turned into Famousparenting Momlife. What keeps it going now isn't a content calendar or a growth strategy. It's the emails from readers who say a single post helped them get through a rough week, or made them laugh on a day that badly needed it.
We're not doctors, and we don't pretend to be. We're parents who read the research, try things out on our own kids first, and only publish what we'd genuinely tell a friend over coffee.

No influencer polish, no guilt-tripping, no pretending every day is a highlight reel. Just a few honest commitments we hold ourselves to.
Every article comes from something one of us actually went through, tested, or messed up first — not repackaged advice pulled from someone else's blog.
When a topic touches health, safety, or child development, we cross-check it against credible sources before it ever goes live. If we're unsure, we say so.
Breastfeeding or formula, co-sleeping or not, working mom or stay-at-home — we write for all of it, because parenting has no single right way.
Nothing here is written in five minutes and pushed live. Here's the honest version of our process.
Topics come from our own parenting struggles or questions readers send us directly — not keyword tools.
Wherever possible, we test the advice on our own families first, so we're not passing along theory we've never lived.
Anything medical, developmental, or safety-related gets checked against reliable sources before publishing.
Every draft gets read by someone other than the author, to catch anything that sounds preachy, vague, or untrue to how parenting actually feels.
If something you've lived through as a parent could help someone else feel less alone at 2 a.m., we'd love to hear it.
